Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the ISO 13485- SciCan Quality System Manual (QSM100), Policies, and SOP procedures are followed.
  • Ensuring the daily plan and schedule is adhered to
  • Following manufacturing instructions to perform assembly, sub-assembly, testing, calibration, cleaning, labelling and packaging procedures
  • Using hand tools to perform manual assembly
  • Operating welding machine
  • Delivering quality products and service with highest standard to both internal and external customers

Requirements:

  • Previous assembly and soldering experience considered an asset
  • Knowledge and ability to operate hand tools (electric drills, screwdrivers, etc)
  • Must be highly adaptable to ensure success in job rotation
  • Basic knowledge of computers
  • Attain English For Everyday Language CLB Level 5 in order to be able to understand and communicate as necessary for the job

Position: Customer Service Coordinator (Bilingual)(Maternity Leave)

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work with the customer service team as a liaison within the network of sales associates and Canadian distributors of our products. This will include reviewing, accepting and entering sales orders and resolving discrepancies with pricing, part descriptions, delivery dates etc. The successful candidate will be responsible for answering the Customer Service and Tech Service phone lines, responding to inquiries, providing information on our products and trouble-shooting problems. The position encompasses processing customer requests for product returns and price adjustments, issuing credits, processing and tracking promotional claims and other administrative tasks. There will also be reception relief during breaks and vacation time.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Review, enter and confirm customer orders and resolve discrepancies with regards to part numbers, product descriptions, pricing and delivery dates;
  • Follow up on timely fulfillment of delivery commitments;
  • Enter orders for direct shipment from supplier to customer and ensure timely allocation and delivery of goods;
  • Answer the Customer and Technical Service phone lines and pick up messages from the customer service mail box;
  • Respond to customer inquiries on product availability, order and repair status, product and pricing information and provide quotations upon request;
  • Verify customers’ eligibility for promotions, order promotional items and document their shipment in the ERP system;
  • Review and accept/refuse customer requests for product returns and credits, obtain authorization from Management, if required, and issue RGAs (Return of Goods Authorizations) in the ERP system;
  • Issue credits to correct order entry and shipping mistakes, short-shipments and adjust pricing for promotions;
  • Resolve and/or forward customer complaints to the Complaint and Customer Service Managers;
  • Assist dealer technicians with part numbers and simple service solutions;
  • Obtain the necessary information for the setup of new customer accounts and pass it on to the appropriate departments;
  • Provide product literature and MSDS sheets to customers;
  • Support the Canadian Sales team with inquires and requests they have raised, including sales history, orders and RGAs;
  • Maintain customer contact information as well as customer order and shipping requirements in the ERP system;
  • Provide translations;

Requirements:

  • University or college certificate, preferably in Business Administration, or equivalent experience;
  • Strong administrative skills and/or experience in an administrative role such as Executive Assistant;
  • Customer experience focused and highly responsive to requests and issues;
  • Efficient and effective in ensuring  timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders and customer requests while protecting company’s interests;
  • Excellent prioritizing, planning and organizational skills;
  • Attentive to detail;
  • Basic technical understanding;
  • Strong problem solving/decision making ability;

Position: Quality Assurance Associate- Medical Device Complaint Specialist

Job Summary:

We currently have an opening within the Quality Assurance department, for a Quality Assurance Associate to join our growing and well-established company. This position is responsible for assuring compliance to the overall quality and regulatory requirements pertaining to the complaint handling process for all products and services offered to SciCan customers.

This position will report to the Quality Assurance Manager.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain complete and accurate records of all complaint reports in order to ensure compliance to national and international regulatory requirements and quality system expectations
  • Maintain practices that allow for effective receipt, documentation, and dispersal of all customer complaint reports for investigation and corrective action.
  • Monitor, maintain, update and arrange the closure of existing complaint files as investigative and corrective action reports are received
  • Provide verbal or written feedback to the customer and other involved parties (i.e. sales reps) regarding investigative action and results
  • Provide monthly complaint trending and status reports to designated departments including QA, Marketing, Sales, R&D, Regulatory Affairs and Management when required.
  • Monitor and immediately forward to the Director, Regulatory Affairs all incoming complaints which may be of an “adverse incident” nature.

Requirements:

  • A college diploma or a degree recognized as equivalent by a Canadian university, in a related field
    OR
  • Minimum of 3 years related experience in a manufacturing environment preferably with technology related products.
  • Previous experience with ISO 13485.
  • Technical background will be an asset.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in groups as well as independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills are essential.
  • Advanced computer skills: MS Office, & ERP system experience.
